On behalf of our client, a leading beauty retail chain, we are looking for an experienced and proactive professional to fill in the following position: Director of Operations.

The Operations Director is the central figure who bridges strategy and the day‑to‑day functioning of the business system. Their role is to ensure that all parts of the company operate in harmony, rhythm, and with a clear purpose, particularly in the areas of retail, assortment, and online channels. They understand processes, lead them, improve them, and transform them into measurable results through people, structured plans, clear expectations, and disciplined execution.

This is a leader who connects strategic thinking with operational precision, guiding the organization through growth, transformations, and everyday challenges without losing stability, focus, or continuity of results.

Responsibilities
  • Implementation of company policies and sales strategy through coordination of all sales channels (retail, online, direct sales, etc.).

  • Translating strategic goals into operational plans, KPIs, and tasks across organizational units; setting priorities and deadlines.

  • Monitoring the execution of plans, analyzing sales results, and implementing corrective measures (actions, reallocations, additions, and promotions) to achieve set objectives.

  • Coordinating the implementation of policies related to sales activities, pricing, discounts, stock levels, and inventory rotation in line with company decisions.

  • Analyzing business performance, preparing reports, and proposing measures to improve sector efficiency.

  • Guiding teams in the implementation of sales policies across channels and service level standards, while monitoring the quality of customer experience.

  • Executing decisions on store openings, closures, and relocations in cooperation with development and finance departments, ensuring consistent implementation of the planned network.

  • Coordinating the functioning of the store network, implementing organizational guidelines, and executing decisions on the appointment, reassignment, and development of store managers.

  • Planning staffing needs, evaluating performance, and proposing training, development, and reward initiatives.

  • Aligning ongoing activities with directors of other departments and resolving bottlenecks in cross‑departmental processes.

  • Participating in the company’s strategic and development projects; ensuring operational readiness for the implementation of new solutions.

  • Managing relationships with suppliers and key external partners.

  • Performing other tasks and responsibilities for which the employer appoints them as a competent and authorized person.

  • Implementing occupational health and safety measures and fire protection procedures.

Requirements
  • Extensive experience in managing retail outlets, assortment, and commercial activities, as well as in planning and analytics.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years in leadership roles.

  • Understanding market dynamics, retail operations, sales planning, KPI development, and productivity control.

  • Recognizes when procedures need to be introduced and when to allow the team independent execution.

  • Manages changes in sales channels and integrates offline and online activities.

  • Fluent English
